What MonsterMash is

The hidden parent panel

Hold the top-left corner of the screen for 2 seconds, or type parent on a keyboard. Inside you can change the sound level, pick one of five themes, set how long monsters stay on screen, switch to calmer motion, and exit fullscreen — all without stopping the game.

Toddler-proofing

• Runs fullscreen so stray taps hit monsters, not browser buttons.
• No links inside the playfield while a session is running.
• Right-click and browser shortcuts are suppressed on the playfield.
• Respects your device's reduced-motion setting.

Little learning moments

Each monster carries the letter or number that hatched it in its belly, so keyboard chaos doubles as early letter exposure. Rare sparkly monsters appear roughly once every 25 hatches — the reason toddlers keep going and parents keep filming.

Privacy

Everything runs in your browser. Settings and your best score are stored locally on your device; challenge links carry only a score number.
